REQ: CVS and Lint Settings

Posted by John W. on April 30, 2006
Hello Richard,

Can you possibly post the source to Source Forge's
CVS server farm - read-only - for us mere mortals?

Also - can you please also make your Lint settings available so we can do the same (Lint, that is.)?

Thanks In Advance,
John W.

John, is a Subversion (SVN) repository any use to you? I am using this locally now so would be best for me. I use TotoiseSVN as a client which is working really well. You can also use a WEB browser interface to the SourceForge SVN repository I think.

I am having problems emailing you at the moment, emails seem to get returned after aprox 3 days.

Regards.

Richard,

OK - I understand that SVS is supposed to be a better CVS - so sure - I can adapt to that.

I wasn't aware that SourceForge had anything other than a CVS repository - I'll poke around and see if I can find it.

Have you posted the FreeRTOS source to the SourceForge SVS repository?

I also sent you e-mail.

Thanks!
John

Richard,

I've downloaded TortoiseSVN and have installed it - but I can't find FreeRTOS on the SourceForge server - can you please let me know what the path is for that?

Thanks,
John W.

Er, it's not, yet, sorry. I didn't mean that I had put it into the SourceForge SVN already, I just meant that I was using SVN locally so it would be preferable to use the SourceForge SVN rather than the SourceForge CVS. I will try and do it today.

(on a side note, I replied to your email so you should get two messages)

Regards.

Hopefully you will now find the repository accessible.

https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/freertos/trunk contains the head revision.

https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/freertos/tags/V4.0.1 contains the last release (at the time of entering this is the same as the head revision).

Let me know if there are any issues.

Regards.

Hi,

what about the Lint settings? ;-)
I just ask because I think I need to use this tool too.
Are you using splint or pc-lint?
Regards,
Joerg
