I have been asked to recommend a real-time OS to a novice. The person is question is, therefore, very much interested in demos. What are your experiences with demos? Are they easy to understand? Is it easy to develop a real-world application similar to the existing demos?
Best regards and thanks in advance, Alexander
RE: Experiences with Free RTOS Demos?Posted by madis on April 17, 2008 Hi, According to my experience its easy to modify demos to real world application. And the demos are easy to understand (there are plenty of them). Try the demos and check the rtos code itself. Very rapid start is guaranteed, you get your leds blinking within no time:-)
T, Madis
RE: Experiences with Free RTOS Demos?Posted by asugix on May 12, 2010 it's hard to understand, until now I still can't compile the demo. It has too many errors. Just recommend only if you understand yourself. And you may teach me :P
