FreeRTOS comparison with others...?Posted by Mohsen on April 7, 2008 Is there anyone who knows about the differences between FreeRTOS and other OSs like TinyOS. I can't compare them, because I couldn't find any useful resources about it. We want to use a realtime OS for motes. I’ve seen that some devices use FreeRTOS someelse TinyOS and etc. What are your criteria for choosing the OS? Why not ask "what do I want from my RTOS", then look to see if the candidates match your requirements. In all cases one of the things you surely want is reliability and good support. On both of these counts FreeRTOS scores well.
