uIP demo Str9-comstick

Posted by tomkirk on August 10, 2007
Hi,

A newbie question, I am trying the ethernet demo for the St9 device using the comstick and IAR embedded workbench. However when I select the project options to include the J-link debugger the debug fails. The message is that is cant connect to jlink via USB. Does anybody have any idea what is causing this problem, or any otherways to connect to my comstick in this demo?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi,

I now understand that it is not possible to use the Jlink with my comstick, but does anybody know what is the proper debugger to use for my device.

Cheers,

Tom

Hi tomkirk,
As there isn't a comstick, Does comstick have a JTAG and a serial port? I'am running FreeRTOS's demo app on my DK-STR91XF in IAR embedded workbench, it's ok when I used debug mode with Jlink except after burning it in the flash, the LCD can't display the strings.
I think your issues my be caused by your USB port of PC that plugs with Jlink, would you please test it on another PC?
