How does this work then? Is it updated automatically in both directions - so posts though google will also appear on SourceForge as well as the other way around?

One small concern - will it generate spam?

it's only a one side mirror. It accept forum messages from SourceForge but CAN NOT post message to this forum because this sourceforge forum is not a member of the google group.

This means people might use it to ask a question, but not get a response because their message will not appear on the forum.

Richard gets an email each time a message is posted onto the forum (anybody can monitor the forum in this way) os knows what questions are pending. We dont want to split the questions between two forums.
