[FreeRTOS Home] [Live FreeRTOS Forum] [FAQ] [Archive Top] [March 2008 Threads] FreeRTOS NEC V850 portPosted by Nirai on March 11, 2008 I am looking for a FreeRTOS port for NEC V850 micro using GHS or IAR toolchain. I went through the FreeRTOS website and also the forum archives - I couldn't find any discussion about the micro port.
NEC V850 follows Harvard architecture and hence I guess I could choose one of the 32-bit PIC or ATMEL AVR ports as the base platform (as these microcontrollers also follow Harvard architecture).
I am quite new to both FreeRTOS as well as NEC V850. Has anybody tried porting for the micro NEC V850? Any suggestions regarding choosing the base platform?
Thanks, Nirai
