Efm32 port

Posted by pgorka on March 18, 2015

I am considering use of freeRTOS in my efm32gg project. I was looking for freeRTOS port. In Demos folder i found only: CORTEXEFMG890F128IAR example. But via google i found something like official port from SiliconLabs - (port mentioned here https://energymicroblog.wordpress.com/2013/09/05/getting-most-out-of-freertos-on-efm32/).

Source code is a part of SiliconLabs SimplicityStudio (distributed as example). I compiled this code and make few simple test and everything seems to be working good. I am wondering if there is any reason why this port is not 'a part' of official freeRTOS release?

I have lost touch a bit with the [ex] Energy Micro guys since the SiliconLabs link up. It would have been nice to have this as part of the official distribution, but I'm very please to see SiLabs making this work available.

Hi, Thanks for your answer. I was wondering if you are aware of this port and its so crapp that didnt get to official release or there are some other reasons.
