Hi, I need to port FreeRTOS on the TI MSP430F5659 CCS gcc. I don't need FreeRTOS+. I downloaded the kernel but there's no MSP430 subdirectory in the portable directory. That is a very old port using (as the web pages says) CCS4, and the e2e link you provided is a very old post (2011!). Did you try the latest MSP430X demo here, although it will need retargetting to your part as it is pre-configured for a 5969: http://www.freertos.org/MSP430FR5969FreeRTOS_Demo.html

It is using the CCS compiler though, not the GCC compiler: https://sourceforge.net/p/freertos/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/FreeRTOS/Source/portable/CCS/MSP430X/
