INCLUDE_vTaskDelete

Posted by Nobody/Anonymous on May 15, 2007
why we have put condition for all API? If we don't have this condition what wil happen?

If we don't have this condition, While running application it uses more RAM? b'coz all API which is include by Application it should have defined 1 in FreeRTOSconfig.h

Some compilers will remove unused code automatically, so the INCLUDE_ statements will make no difference and can all be set to 1. On the other hand, other compilers will include the code generated by unused API calls in your build, making executable size (flash image) bigger than necessary. In this case setting unused API calls to 0 reduces the code size.

Regards.
