[FreeRTOS Home] [Live FreeRTOS Forum] [FAQ] [Archive Top] [October 2005 Threads] Problem with AT91SAM7S64 Port & IAR V4.20APosted by Peter McConaghy on October 17, 2005 hi.
I've just downloaded FreeRtos V3.2.2 and am trying to get it to work with the IAR KickStart V4.20A (with the patch IAR-Patch64_256_A3_V1.3.zip applied).
When I try to open the workspace it gives an error and says "Not a project file" and that it couldn't open rtosdemo.ewp
As far as I can tell I've got the latest IAR Kickstart package. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it just doesn't work with the IAR version that I have.
regards Peter

RE: Problem with AT91SAM7S64 Port & IAR V4.20Posted by Peter McConaghy on October 17, 2005 Sorry if the last post sounded rude - it wasn't meant to!
Looking around again I can see the obvious note about needing V4.30A (I misread it as V4.20A) and where to get it - at least where to find the 30 day evaluation.
I was hoping to find a V4.30A copy of the KickStart package so I had more than 30 days to play with it - does such a thing exist?
Peter
RE: Problem with AT91SAM7S64 Port & IAR V4.20Posted by Jokke on October 17, 2005 My impression is that it is not time limited, but limited to 32kBytes of download code, which certainly is enough for evaluation. Jokke
