Working CCS V5.5 project for MSP430X?

Posted by smithbone on October 29, 2013

Anyone have a working project using the latest CCS (V5.5) and a MSP430X device? The existing demo used a previous version of CCS.

This has come up a few times before, but I can't see that there is any code in the Interactive site. You could try searching the archive: http://www.freertos.org/FreeRTOSSupportForumArchive/freertossupportforumarchive_index.html

Regards.

Looking through the archives I see there have been some other issues with CCS 5.

This post indicates that 5.2 worked but had some problems with printf.

In that post you (Richard Barry) mention that you had not tried CCS 5 yet. I assume then that the demo project was for CCS 4? I wonder if I should try an earlier version of CCS?
