This post indicates that 5.2 worked but had some problems with printf. http://www.freertos.org/FreeRTOSSupportForumArchive/October2012/freertosFreeRTOSdemoiscrashesonMSP430F5438_5904832.html In that post you (Richard Barry) mention that you had not tried CCS 5 yet. I assume then that the demo project was for CCS 4? I wonder if I should try an earlier version of CCS?
